Unlucky Dan:( the fall and crash reminded me of my early Lara Croft days on the PS when she fell and you heard the sounds of broken bones, which made me cringe:(

Thanks G. I don't think it would have been anywhere near as bad if I had of had a mobius on it rather than that massive sj4000.
what's that shitty saying, oh yeah. Its the nature of the hobby.

Bad luck mate.
Suggestion for your P in P, put it at the bottom left or right.

Off course there's that other saying.

I had been playing with the mobius settings, trying the white balance lock, I had mixed results really some of the vids were a bit on the dark side, I've had a bit more of a play with the settings and will he going flying later to test them out.
I also had another couple of flights at dusk, the mobius footage was unusable really, but the performance of the Sony 600tvl mini camera was awesome I could has sworn I was flying in full bright sunlight until I took the goggles off and it was dark. Lol it give me the confidence e to fly in much duller conditions than I have ever flown before. I didn't record off the dvr for a comparison but I will try to my next time im out in low light.

I have found the same thing, that little cam is awesome in low light.
I have put my mobius low light settings in my night flight thread if you haven't already seen them.

yep, that was a great flight, the last flip you done the quad was about 9 inches from hitting the deck... very close call... nice flight though Dan until that tree jumped out at you... this has reminded my of the video i took of this flight on my phone, checking it now. if its any good ill put it on here for you if you want, or stick it on my sugarsync account so you can do whatever with it...

Dan, that video off my phone looks pretty good, didnt get the whole flight but certainly got that last flip where you nearly hit the deck and the crash at the end, although thats a bit small to see much... anyway, can i upload it onto hangout? its just under 200MB, its busy transferring to my sugarsync account if not..

It will be easier for me to get it off your upload backup. It depends on the format as too if it can be uploaded to the forum.

Having fun mate. Didn't get to the quarry, I'm at some woods doing proximity stuff again I've only had 2 flights so far. 1 range test, result 600mw still very good at 400m out so it's time to start playing in the trees.
