Agreed, the most important thing is that you are flying again.
Just make sure you check them regularly.
And maybe put a beeper on it sooner rather than later.
We don't want to lose you again. :D

Got through 4 packs today. Practice, practice... I used a keyfob cam, totally crap.... Although it does show I need to do my banked turns slower so one doesn't be sick when watching vids... and I need to do FFF closer to ground so you can see how fast and far it's going.. Try to maintain the same altitude throughout the fig 8's.. Not easy... But it is all great fun and I'm loving it, this quad rocks... Mind you so did the other one I had.... thanks guys for giving me this great quad...

looks pretty good mate, is there any drift or do you have to hold cyclic stick to keep position?

It's held quite solid Dan, there was a little drift but it was in direction of wind... So seems ok now. I'll have a go at fpv tomorrow.... Dreading it...lol

That was really quite good, Tony! Nice job! It looks to be very solid!

As for the FPV tomorrow...just take a deep breath and try to just keep it moving forward....steady and slow. I'm sure you'll do fine!!!

Like Derek said low slow and steady if you feel like it's running away lower the throttle. Repeat.

Looks good Tony.
Plenty of good advice given already but as I have said before
Big open area with short grass
Spotter if possible
Keep it close
Keep it short, 2 or 3 minutes is plenty
Keep going forwards... slowly
Don't try to hover
For altitude, a little too high is better than a little too low :)
Land, relax, repeat. :)

done some LOS flying today with new motors on, totally awesome man.... right up to the 3rd pack and it just dropped out the sky.... broke landing gear in half. no idea why, only thing i can think of is it lost TX signal....when i got to it one of the motors had just stopped, i did disarm with TX but obviously didnt work..... other than the landing gear the quad is fine....

busy editing 3 vids to show you guys... last one will be when it drops to the deck...

vids to follow

lol....you need to tape a small reminder note on your tx to remind you to start the timer, lol.

Nonetheless...you got it off the ground, you flew the piss out of it, and you got it down with nothing broken. Life is good!!!
