Ok... Had a good day at the field.. Burn'd off a half gallon of nitro. The N5C is back at it again with the tail wag on high stress maneuvers. I don't get it... But she still flew awesome! Got 550 back in working order with the new regular... I used hot glue.. Seems to have done the trick. I put 8 cycles on her... She's a FREAK'N BEAST! I'm not try'n to boast by any means... But I must have got better on my stick handling... Now I constantly use sticks.. Giving more input than I was before.. Used to get 5-6 minutes on the Align 550PRO DFC w 5000mah packs... Now if I pull her down at the 5min mark the packs are at 10-15%... Gonna have to bring the timer back to 4:30 instead of 5:00. I must say... the nitro is a wonderful machine and does way more than im capable of... It's strong.. BUT... The 550 gets the golden egg today. POWERFUL! Just hammered on her and she more than took it.... Scared me a couple times! Lol.. The nitro actually felt relaxing to fly while the electric was like.... Ride'm boy.. Ride'm! Lol good time today!

Oouuu oouuu.. Just thought about something... Usually I fly the 550 in idle up 2.... 2250 headspeed... Today I flew all my flights at 2450 in idle up 3... May have a little to do with my decreased time as well...

WHATS UP! Wooohoooooo! Sooo stoked right now. Found a club half way to my sons college... They let me fly as a guest... Had a freak'n blast! The 550 is off the chain... Love'n it! What??? Dats right.. Love'n it! I'm even excited about my crash... First time she crashed ever! I've had her for a little over a year & this is the first time she went down... So I had a thought the other day.. Half piro - tic tic - half piro - tic toc... As many as u can.. So I was practicing it... I was do'n it.. Sloppy like.. But I was work'n on it.. Anyhow.. TOTALLY missed the timer... I mean.. "Time expired".. Huh?.. Vibrate'n in my hands.. Huh?.. Beep'n!.. Huh?.. Lol.. So i flew it over 7 minutes to a low voltage cut off in the middle of the half piro... I was practicing this in idle up 1 to keep from goin crazy and only had 1900 headspeed(govern'd.. Prolly less due to low voltage)... Anyhow I got her level and pulled negative in hopes of keep'n the rotors turn'n.. And they did, I think my initial reaction wasn't quick enough to keep good speed... Auto'd her down.. Broke the skids only... I'm gonna go over her with a fine tooth comb.. But so far the skids are it... This was done from.. 20-25ft max.. I'm kinda happy... How crazy is that!

Not a good day.. Broke the tail fin on the 550(see control section)... Had the P-47 with me I put her in air.. And then the ground... Bummed out!

Sounds like a normal RC guys day to me. We have good days and bad. Looking back through your log seems like you have more good days than bad.

Lol, thanks Ken! Flew tonight for the first time in a couple weeks.. Got 4 flights in on the N5C before I lost my glo plug.. PushGlo gave a single beep indicating it was done with. My idiot self did not take the tool box w the extra plug to field with me. But had fun.

... I suck at rhyme'n... But I loves me some B-Boys! Only worked half of my day off today, so I get to fly at my favorite spot... aka "honey comb hind out".. it's undeveloped school property.. U guys have seen it in previous pics & vids.. But I havent been here in like 6mths.. They had locked the gate due to kids w 4x4s tearing up the grass & making it muddy after rain storms.. Drove by the other day & saw it was open.. Couldn't resist! Bonus... They mowed it! SCORE!
