Synergy N5C Grounded

Left work at 3pm... Yes it was my day off.. Anyhow.. Was gonna get a couple flights in on the N5C.. Got weird on idle prior to spoil up & was making a strange noise.. I think I've lost my one way bearing in the clutch bell.. Or the clutch itself.. Packed up without a lot of disappointment due to the fact its 101 degrees & I really wanted some AC.. Won't get a chance to pull it apart till Friday or Saturday. I could do it tonight, but I think I'm stuck here on the couch under the fan.. It's Africa hot here in the deep south.. Nitro in the hanger for maintenance... Grounded!

Africa Hot in the deep south! you're not kidding. I have to do most of my flying in the AM.Down here in fla, the temps. been over 90's, feeling like 100's, the last month an a half. Extreme heat & afternoon showers doesn't help out the flying conditions. Could be worst conditions I guess, snow..... In Fla!

It's rained here the last 9 out of 10 days. Sure does put a halt to any and all flying.

Been cloudy and raining since last week sometime. Temps in the 70s 80s. Can't fly without blades. Still have not found them. Need to buy a set of 360s.

Hey there murankar, I order 2@ RJX 360mm blades from AnythingHeli this morning for my Gaui X3. The blades should be here by Friday the latest.

Loved the size. 360mm is where its at on that frame.

The 360mm are wonderful size for the gaui especially trying to fly inverted. Nice and steady up side down. You love the size how about the brand. To much $$$ for my taste. RJX 360mm/362mm work fine for me. I should get my blades today for the Gaui, I hope.

Yep.. It was the clutch... Wondering if I should get a new liner while I've got it apart.. For the trouble scrape'n out the old i thin a new bell would be worth the cash.. Anyhow.. Part is to be ordered momentarely.

Ouch! Just wear and tear did that? Imagine what kind of damages you would of had if you put her in the air If you didn't hears those noise apon spooling up??
