dude I know the feeling, went out last Wednesday evening with the Alien and my one battery had major sag, so only got a short flight, wanted to do more so I cobbled 2 batteries for the 250 quad together and luckily I had a parallel plug on hand to be able to do so, so managed the extra flight,

came home and ordered 2 extra batteries.

Great FPV maiden derek the quad looks good in the air. Landings come with time mate, watch your legs mate, ive flown into mine a couple of times with porket.

Thanks Dan! I don't think I could be any happier with how the quad flew. It climbs and descends smoothly. It flies and turns smoothly. I'm a happy dude!!!

Here is a video from todays outing with my Dad. He was there taking pictures. The ECHO 290 performed very well again today. In the video, you'll hear some beeping from the low voltage beeper that I had on board. I was flying with a 4S 1800mah 40C pack today. Perhaps it wasn't as charged as I thought it was because the beeper went off well before my tx timer. The 3S 2200 flight pack laster A LOT longer the other day. Oh well, it was great to get flying with Dad today and everything came home in one piece.

Lee, I can't even begin to express how happy I am with this 290 quad. I've made so few adjustments to the PIDs and it just seems to fly perfectly. If I remember right, the profile that I'm using is the Multi Wii (rewrite). I think it was profile 1.

It's gonna take a lot of practice to be able to fly close to the ground like I see a lot of people doing but to be honest with you, I really enjoy the higher altitude view and then swooping down. I really enjoy that.

You're getting the landing down. Soon enough, before you know it you will be flying close to the ground.

Thanks DOG! Yeah, the landing on this flight was much smoother than my previous landings, lol. I'm trying to work on lower flying. It's just gonna take some practice, lol. I bought some foam pool noodles yesterday so that I could make an Air Gate. It will give me something to aim for and hopefully it will help me get use to lower flying.
