Another VisionAire flight. Starting to fly this bird slower than I ever have. Flying the Yak 54 and all the sim time I've put in with the Yak I'm really starting to like the slow flying.

Thanks Graham. A club near mine is having a 3D flyin this weekend. I'm trying to decide if I should go to fly or just watch. Not sure my style is 3D? I guess some of it is but mostly sport.

Bring some stuff to fly. Check it out for a while first and see if your flying fits in. If it's more serious 3D flyers, hang back and enjoy the show! :)

I flew, shot some video but it was a new camera and a changed a focus setting I should not have touched. So I have no video. Including the crash of my new Carbon Z YAK. I was tearing up the sky though before I lost it. Were a lot of guys better than me but enough that weren't I went ahead and flew. here are some pics of the planes there.

I love the picture of that green and white plane! Too expensive for my checkbook, but it sure it good looking!

As for your flights....sorry to hear about the crash of the Yak. That's a bummer! Is the damage bad?

The Visionaire, in your hands, is still an awesome plane! Very very cool!!!

Thanks Derek. Yeah all those planes were expensive. The Navy jet is around $10,000 USD. He doesn't stunt much but does do high speed inverted passes. Also flies it with jet fuel. Amazing plane. A few of these guys have trailers dedicated to their craft. Workbenches, charging stations and lots of drawers with parts and such. And of course all the rigging to hang planes on the walls of the trailer for transport. I love flying but a few of these guys were extreme. I would like to have a nice Balsa plane someday. Would probably still go with electric just for simplicity.

Thanks Lee, I'm getting it back together. As soon as I get moved I'll order the parts to get my 500 back together. That is my favorite Heli. Can't remember anymore when I flew it last.

Well got the Yak back together and took it for a spin. Didn't see anything wrong with the rudder on the bench. Moments after I took off a guy behind me said my rudder was flopping around. Got it down without breaking anything. All 3 rudder hinges had come undone. Weird.
