Guys I have had the best frigging flying week ever, think I have done ten packs in the last 3 days, and had so much fun,

Flew 4 packs tonight, first pack on angle mode to get used to the feel and response of the dal 5040 props, then 3 packs on acro, and Man this quad freaking goes like stink in acro I tell ya!

I crashed I'm not going to lie, lots, but I have to say the props are not even scratched, will say though I do need to balance them but the Fossils Stuff frame absorbed the vibes awesome and flew flawless, I do have a video so will post that up when I can, and it includes a freaking awesome barrel roll that seemed to go on forever,

Oh and did I mention I did not break a prop tonight :D :D :D :D :D :) :D :D :D :D

As far as I am concerned Kev, if you are fly proximity and keeping low, you will crash or you are not trying hard enough.
I very rarely do 2 packs without a crash of some sort.
Those Dal props are supposed to be pretty resilient I hear and I guess you are proving it.
I love your balloon idea and I intend to hang some from my hoops next time out, which may not be for a while as our weather is turning to custard over here.
Well done mate, keep flying, you can only get better. :)

Here is the second video, this was twice as long as it should have been, but have cut all the down time out after the crashes, lol :D :D :D :D :D

Yes Stambo the flight characteristics and SPEED become addictive, it did feel like I crashed a lot on Friday but had a blast of a night flying,

Well flew the V2 on Cleanflight for the first time last night, flew at our site with the hard gravely type surface so testing out cleanflight and getting to grips with that was not the time to play in acro mode,

Have gone with PID controller 1 and flew on stock settings, with all the esc failures at the moment and the common factor from what I have read seams to be timings and motor combos so I opted to not run oneshot and low Looptime but went for 1800 looptime instead.

how it went,

very well actually, it felt smooth and locked in in angle mode, felt a lot easier to control altitude I seemed less porpoise motion in fwd flight which seemed an issue for me, only thing that caught me out was how quick and steady this controller is for yaw, that blew me away, looking forward to flying this in acro now,

No video because of the ground I did not want to tempt trashing my camera lens in a crash, and yes I did crash into one gate, 3 times

Some videos from last nights shenanigans' great fun was had and no props were hurt in the making of these videos.

Oh and BTW by the last video it was starting to get a tad dark, but it looked a lot lighter through the goggles, lol

Hell yeah Stambo, but got to get to grips with not tagging the ground at that speed I need more throttle to stop it slipping altitude,

But seriously guys we all had a freaking blast last night,

And here is a mash up that a mate done on his cameras, enjoy.
