You seem to be flying more aggressively which may contribute to that flutter sound from the government gain.

Government gain. hehe. I had the same auto-correct happen on my post. Had to go in and edit it.

One video of my E7SE.. Tuning the tail... Had to go even lower on the main P gain.... Never had this much difficulty tuning iKon before. Taking forever! Had the N5C up too... But I did the inverted dance on the head... Scratch up my new blades, head, & gripes.. Also striped the main gear... And believe it or not... Saved it!

Still sounds like the gov gain is too high. Hearing high pitched flutter pretty often. Can make tuning the tail difficult.

Sorry. Didn't realize it was a different heli.

It depends on your style. For what I do (fast, big air mixed with mild to moderate 3D, with only occasional bouts of "crack"), that kind of gov gain hunting would eat my main gear or pinion for lunch. If you're flying more smack style the higher gain can be useful.

If it's working for you, go with it!

Yeah, that's the E7SE... U had mentioned the same in the previous video of the 550PRO DFC.... Hopefully get a little more tuning on the E7SE tomorrow. I'll also get to repair maiden the N5C with its new main gear..

Never played with the Gov gain on my Ikons.
Maybe I'm missing out, but my helis fly fine with default.

i had to play with mine on the protos. it used to make a weird fluttering sound until i knocked it down a touch

Went to SC today to deliver a new washing machine for my mom. Stopped at Larks for a couple flights.. Windy.. Seems to make my tail go nuts.. Had to dial the gain back a bit.. And I think the cooler temps of Oct has my needle tuning off too. Keena did a great job filming for me tho. Still my favorite bird in the fleet! Left there & went to Shealy's BBQ for lunch... I'm soooo full still.. Good eats!

Thanks.. Been working on pirouetting circuits.. That one wasn't working for me.. Or rather I wasn't working for it. Lol.. Abandoned the maneuver & moved on. Lol.. Yes I was smiling.. Was a good day!

The 550 had a great start.. First 2 packs where good.. The third.. Doing FAST hurricanes too low.. Caught the blade tip & pulled her in.. She slid 20+ feet! Lol

Swash, main blades, spindle, main shaft, skids... Scuffed up the canopy pretty good too.. Not too bad for as fast as she was going. Lol
