Yeah.. I bought one to go with my regular Align Allen wrenches(ones w colored handles)... The tip of the 1.5 broke tho.. So I ordered another.. & broke another 1.5... I do not blame the wrench tho... I use too much loctite and monkey fist screws... Totally my fault.. This wrench set is good.

I like the Scorpion set, personally. Its not a must have its a nice to have.

As you can see I ordered everything needed to get it built and setup. I am still short the main flight packs, some wire and connectors. I will be extending the back packs and balance leads. The goal is to get all the connectors to the front of the air frame. Matt Botos has a great solution to making the series connector. He runs two EC5 male connectors on the ESC and then jumps those. It simple to the point and uses the least amount of connections, from what I can tell. Next week I hope to get the rest of the stuff. Maybe be flying before Memorial Day weekend. I hope to make that weekend the weekend I get out of this area for the 3 to 4 days. As for the tools, I have everything needed for the build so if I do order more tools its because its a want not a need. With that said I may just put off those till a later date. With the issues on the X3 I would rather put the tool money on a new esc and motor for that.

So the order is still on hold. I went to heli direct and looked for some details as to why. I also called the bank to make sure they did not block the charge, since it was a huge chunck. So the verdict is: Goblin is out of stock. With no restock date as of yet.

Thats about all that is in stock anywhere. The standard 570 is out of stock everywhere except rotarywingrc.com i believe.

Wow that's 2 vendors. I totally forgot about them. I should add them to my favs folder. I would just cancel the order for the kit but I would loose all those points. I am trying to build as many points as possible so when I order the batteries I can get a discount.

after this purchase I will have over 2000 points. You earn 1 point for every dollar and 100 points equals $1 of discounts. So yeah it sucks but at least its something. The one thing I really don't like about HD is they do not discount Military. Progressive Rc does but they don't offer kits. What they do offer is batteries and their discount is 5%. So I will weight out the cost of some packs with them and see if it is going to be better than HD.

Actually its shipping today. I was about three clicks away from canceling the order and redoing it. If it was not going to ship today I was ready to order the Carbon edition yellow and black.

The only one they had left in stock at the time was the Yellow and Black CF edition. Even the Kyle Stacy Edition was out of stock. Anyhow I was going to get the CF edition (I do like the colors better) but when they said the Standard Yellow and Red was in stock I kept that one. Besides if I want the CF edition stuff all I need to do is order the canopy and boom. Canno Mod had a carbon canopy, boom with matching vertical stab and skids that I like more. LOong Story short eventually everything worked out and the order ship out today. should have it by Wednesday VIA UPS.
