I was just speaking, via Facebook Messenger, to Brian...the guy that inspired this build and he's telling me to "get those rates under 350 and run 50-60% expo in the transmitter." It completely slipped my mind to ask him how. He's saying that the "degrees per second" is too high.
How do I go about doing this? I won't be able to speak with Brian again until Sunday. He's going out of town.

Re: Sinister 770 Quad Build
Glad you finally got it flying Derek.
Rates for that would have to be way lower than we are used to for "normal" sized quads.
I would imagine the PIDs for something that size would have to be fairly low too.
Maybe even the loop time could go down some too (or is that up, I can't remember, whatever is slower), but that's just me thinking out loud.
It will certainly react a lot slower than anything you have flown before.

To change the degrees per second in Cleanflight, its in the PID menu under "roll rate" 'pitch rate" Derek.
