550 tail boom case measurement

Is the 550 torque tube tail boom case the same as the 600 torque tube tail boom case?

I just need to know the measurements of the 550 tail case but if it's the same as my 600, then I can get the measurements.

Not at home Derek to give you an exact measurement. There is a difference in size. I know this as I bought a 550 complete tail boom and torque tube and the guy that sent it sent a 600 which I had to complain about as it was too long.
He has been dealing with Align for years and thought everything is interchangeable between the 550 and 600. Certainly in my case it wasn't. I think it was as much as 50mm. The boom supports were also to long.

Luckily I have both so I kept them and he sent me the correct size of his own 550 at a discount:)

I will check my emails and see if I still have the sizes. Like I said I am not at home till tomorrow so can't physically check:)

I thought they were different, thought the 550 was narrower than the 600 pro that you got Derek

I really don't know. I may just have to make a trip to the LHS today and see if they have a tail case for the 550 and 600 and see if there are size differences.

The 600e pro tail box is HN6030-1
And the 550 dfc is H60035-1

I think the 600e pro is wider as the batteries go between the frame and older 600's and 550 are sitting on the frames angled battery tray,

Derek has the new frame config that is like the 700, hence why it's different, the 550 box will fit the 550 and the 600 esp
