KST DS215MG Servos.

Thought I'd take these servos and have abetter look at them.

Took them apart to see how they looked inside.
A good amount of grease on the gears.

Underneath they have covered the components to stop shorting to the case.
This is the issue with the Turnigy. You need to insulate them with a strip of electrical tape.

I had to Insulate my 306's the same Lee...

You're kidding. You guys have actually had to crack open servos in order ot electrically insulate the control boards from the metal cases? This wasn't sufficiently done at the factory? Wow. Can't believe a company would ship a product with that kind of flaw in it.

Mine are insulated. Its the Turnigy ones that aren't.

Its why I checked the KST servos straight away.
Glad to see they had silicon insulation on there contacts.
