U don't need an RX voltage sensor... The data port.. From the TM1000 to ur GPRO.. That will power the TM1000 & read the voltage of that connection.. Which is powered via the RX pack.. RX voltage. The sensor that u can "Y" into the middle port is for flight pack & temp.. U don't have a flight pack.. Gasser.. So just plug in the temp sensor. Or is it different for a DX8?

Oh, mine will be back together soon.. Engine is on the way.. And I'm being told by the HS owner that the burnt one will be replaced.. So I'll have a back up if this happens again!

Awesome, thanks! I guess it's looking for the flight pack sensor, because when I get the "0.0 V" alarm if I press clear it stops beeping and goes to the telemetry screen showing the voltage and temp. My Motul 2 stroke mix should deliver today, and I just need to set up my throttle curves & servo.

As far as the rpm's....I'm using the Align governor sensor with the GPro. Is there a way to use that sensor for the TM1000....or do I need to go with a backplate sensor for telemetry?

From my understanding u can us the Align sensor... How are u running things tho? Im not familiar with the new GPRO.. But I can tell u how I've done my iKon. Before I start explaining my set up.. Please NOTE! ALIGN RPM SENSOR WIRE COLORS (pos & neg) ARE REVERSED(as per iKon & Spektrum wiring)! When I ran mine.. At first look I pulled the pos/neg & swap'd them to match the ~ - + of the iKon port.. Never got it to register.. Soo pissed I swore it was bad. Then read on HF that I should have just plug'n'play'd the sensor. So I put them back and tadaaaah! So.. Black is pos & red is neg on the Align RPM sensor.. Brain teaser/patience tester for sure. Ok... My set up.. O.S. 55-HZ-R, Hatori SAB-55, iKon, Spektrum DSMX sats, TM1000, DX9, MKS HV servos, Futaba heavy duty power switch, PushGlo igniter, Pulse 3600mah RX pack. Those are my components... Now I had a time figuring out how to feed RPM data to both the iKon & the Tm1000.. "Y" harness for the backplate sensor signal line was my first thought.. But by the time I made the connection and ran alll the stuff.. I said no to that.. I discided to use 2 different sensors.. So FBL unit is pluged in with all servos as normal along with the sats.. RX pack to power switch, power switch to aux 2 channel & PushGlo(I did use a "Y" harness here on the power switch so I can feed power to the iKon and PushGlo). TM1000 data lead to aux 3(this will power the TM1000 & feed RX voltage info). Temp sensor to TM1000(middle port, no "Y" harness). Spektrum backplate sensor to TM1000(feeds RPM to TM1000 only). Align magnet sensor to iKon(feeds RPM to iKon only, magnets on the clutch bell). This reads confusing.. I'll sketch it out in a few & post.. Hope this helps ya.

I did omit the bluetooth module.. The yellow wire was broke so I haven't installed it yet.. But it's just from the module to the iKon.

Notice the signal, pos, & neg wires... See the difference to the iKon gov port using the Align sensor vs. the Spektrum wires going into the TM1000... The iKon port itself is suppose to be the same as Spektrum.. But Align swapped the colors.. Freak'n weird!

Thanks Clay, that was tons of help! Thanks for the heads up on the rpm sensor wires. Looks like I'll be ordering a backplate sensor tomorrow. Other than that....I think I have it ready to crank up. My 2 cycle oil got here today, so I should be firing it up when I get home from work tomorrow!

IT'S ALIVE!!! Primed it with the choke closed for a few seconds and electronics off, and BOOM! The only thing is my throttle servo has a pretty good twitch. I'm going to try running the ignition off of a separate Lipo and see if that helps.

Thanks. Hopefully separating the GPro and ignition module power will fix it. Either that or maybe move the module between the frames above the gas tank.

Now does that module work the same as my DLE-30's module... Constantly? Unlike a glo igniter that only gets it goin & then turns off.. That right? If so then yeah, u want to keep the power clean by providing a seperate power supply to the igniter to keep clean power to ur RX. At least that's how my plane works.

Yeah, it constantly fires the spark plug. It might be too close to the throttle servo. I would think that the module would be shielded. When I get home I'm going to pull the module loose and lay it on the table and see if that makes any difference. But yeah, to be safe they will have separate Lipos.

Success!! I pulled the ignition module away from the throttle servo, and no more twitch. Now I'm in the process of mounting it in the frame right above the tank. Should have a maiden tomorrow! Here's a video.
