Yes Tony I've heard of them. I think they have done work with our southern sawmills.

Nice one Tony. Things are looking up. .....................................................What's a pat?...............is it some
sort of test gear to check the severity when one strokes a dog or cat (pat)? or is it to check on the whereabouts
of all women called Pat. It's amazing what you can do with a few caps and resistors these days lol

Sorry for not being on the forum lately but I feel I have nothing to contribute anymore. Although I still enjoy flying my quad around. As for my job, things are going great, my only problem at the moment is getting up at 6am. It's a killer for me after working from home for the past 9 years and basically getting up when I want to...

As for what is a PAT Treff, it stands for Portable appliance Test, this is quite a sophisticated piece of kit which tests appliances like washing machines for example. It check continuity, Earth leakage, etc etc... Basically makes sure your appliance is safe to use. You will often see a green sticker on them saying they have past the test. There is shed loads of different types of PAT's out there... Very complex in design too..

Anyway my job is to both fix them when they come in broke, or calibrate them when the annual calibration date is due..

I still haven't done any fpv flying, not sure I ever will now...

You have a lot you contribute Tony, like I've not gotten around to building a filter for my fpv setup. You asked me that the draw was on my vtx I don't know (it's not in the manual), so how do I find out and then go from there.
