She's up and running again.
Added a bunch of reinforcement.
Did a quick test flight this evening.
OMG! This thing is fast. Even with no power it's moving some.
Landing speed was about 30mph, into wind on a glide

Hope to get a video tomorrow.

Here are the rest of the build photos.

After the maiden crash, I replaced the YEP esc with the one I originally had with this set up.
A 70A HK super simple ESC. Its bulky, but works.
I think the cause of the crash, was a faulty BEC in the YEP.

On the plug n play set up, the rear hatch is glued down, and you only remove the canopy to get the battery in and out.
But as my battery is far back, I need to get in there.
So I glued the canopy and rear hatch together, to make one removable hatch.
Had to move the magnets to new positions at the rear, and the canopy will be held with elastic bands.

Original spot for magnets.

New spot.

Made an extra air intake for the ESC/Motor.

All electronics in place.

Ready for the second maiden (went very well

)

Video to come in a couple of days, when the wind calms down.

Ok so here is the Re-Maiden

Flew perfectly.
I have the timing set to low at the moment, so it can go faster than this.
Being so fast and small, it doesn't stay in view for long

I can only give a couple of seconds of full power before its gone

She's down again, and this time I know what happened.
RX had a brownout. Battery was still plug in, and the rx was flashing.
Minor damage to the foam, but the canopy cracked.
So it's now covered in tape.
