That is a sexy case, Jesse! Very very cool!!!

So, you are saying that I'd need two PSU's for the 4010 Duo charger? Is that something that you can do?

Yes Jesse and Lee are running a pair of 1200pba units in series, you just have to float the dc ground on the second unit,

Lee's unit was done by Coolice, and has the protection circuitry that you would be advised to have to protect the 4010 duo, pop Ian a PM and ask him to explain, it's a great addition to a great power supply,

Yep you need 2 if you plan on charging lots of packs at once
As for as protection. Thats why i put the efule board in. So it is fused before the charger at 40amps.
Picked it up from x heli it was cheap

Here are two PS units that will work with oyur setup. also you may want to invest in the coolice controller since you want the iCharger. iChargers are fragile to power spikes from a psu dieing out. Dell also has a decent power supply, I just don't know which models would be ideal.

Jesse I really like how you did your case. I like the half deck and still gives you a place for the charger to be in the case. Still planing mine, in truth waiting for the money to get all the stuff for it.

If you look at my case its the power outlets. For the charger and what ever else i want to.run off it
It has 2 40amp outs and 3 10 amp outs that can be switched. On and off

I am really liking the PRC modular boards. I could get away with just 2 for now. That's still a hefty chunk of change for me to swallow right now.

Different chargers. When you go to fyn flies and stuff it comes in handy. Someone like me shows up without a PSU and then I would pester Jesse to let me use Hus case to charge. Or if you have multiple chargers that you want to use you could.

Once you start getting into it you learn it just like everything else. Just a matter of getting your hands dirty. Just know that if you want to make the output you need to max the input. Those ichargers your looking at can take upto 50 amps in. That's more than what anyone needs today. 50 Amos is for para charging lots of 14s setups.

well...should I be looking at a different charger? I want a charger that will allow me to para charge my 3S and 6S packs as well as my "soon to get" 4S packs...but I also want to be able to balance charge....on top of all that...i want to be able to do all the above "safely".

The pl6 and pl8 both will do that. I would look at the pl8 so that you have more room to grow. Plus you can run two pl8s in series later if need be. The advantage of the dual charger is for charging to sets of different cell counts at the same time. The one tour looking at is a beefy charger and could possibly be the last one you buy, bar any future issues. The pl8 will go to 8s where as the pl6 goes to 6s

Derek have a word with Coolice, his power supplies are running a lot of Icharger duo's without any problems,

The good thing about the dou chargers is you can charge 3s batteries on one side while charging 6s batteries on the other, you don't have to swap and change like you do on the single output chargers,

Well, I'm definitely thinking that this is the charger that I want. To be able to charge 3S on one side and 6S on the other side...yes please!!!

Where is Coolice from? and how do I contact him?

He's a member on here now, or drop him a bell on RCH or here's his mail address ian@coolice.co.uk

He's a great guy and will answer any questions, he is in the UK but will give you advice anyway, it's his supply Lee is using on his duo, 240v in and 2400w at 100a out it's a monster but it would be approx 1800w at 75a for you in the USA

He hinted the other day of a new project for connecting two dps1200pba units easily,
