325mm on a X3
Today I was bored so i put 325mm blades on my Gaui X3 since my 362mm blades haven't shown up yet . It wasn't bad at all to fly. Had to get the feel for the weight differences on the Gaui using smaller blades. I have to say that I had fun . I still like the 362mm vs 325mm but for the time being it will work.

Yeah the 325mm work but the disk loading is so heavy. It will sinkl like a rock but it responds so much more better. I personally like the 360mm better so far.

Re: 325mm on a X3
It's the same with every heli I've had my hands on.. Bigger disc area flys better.. Uv got ur lift/weight, power, load.. All those ratios yeah.. But a larger disc just flys more stable.. The smaller the quicker they seem leading one to think its not stable(even tho it most likely is stable), but makes one really feel the speed on inputs. I did find it funny tho.. In playing with E7SE on 716s... It was almost too much disc as compared to the 696 blades.. Made it feel borderline too floaty. It's all relative & preference in the end i think. I have however debated over the last 1-1 1/2 about stretching my 450 from 325 to 360.. But haven't.. I'd end up needing to go new 6s packs, 6s motor, & the parts to stretch it. Matter of fact.. I think I'll fix her today.. She's been down for a little over a month.

It all in the disk loading. Bigger blades less loading equals floaty and decent autos. Heavy disk loading or smaller blades equals snappy response agile more apt for smack flying and autos like crap.
