Help upgrading software on HW 60a esc

I received my HW Platinum Pro v4 60a esc to install in my Gaui x3. The problem is that the software needs to be updated. Can some one help me or point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Same here. Don't know anything about HW ESCs as of yet. Why do you need to update the software? Is there something they fixed which is specifically a problem for your setup?

The program box for the esc let me know that the software needs to be updated. I can't program my timing and pmw frequency.

Thank you for that Derek. Now the problem my computer stated that the "Can't execute files" What the heck that means. I just know that I can't program the ESC til the software is updated and my computer wont let me do that. So I can't fly the X3. I probably can with factory settings but I think the timning and PMW are to high. I don't want to burn up anything.

I haven't done a firmware yet. I do know you need the PC software and the esc and the program box connected and then connect the program box to the PC.

I can also tell you that the PWM is hard coded at 32. Which means you can't change it. Timing at 15 will work for %90 of the motors out there. Listen to RCHN their episode from June 20 covers this a little.
