board camera and fat shark predator v2

Im going to place an order for a fat shark predator v2 rtf kit, and would like to upgrade the camera to a pz0420, The camera that comes with the goggles is powered from the video TX @ 5v but the pz0420 runs @ 12v. what would be needed to power a pz0420, can i just run it straight off the 3s system (wired to the disro board) or do i need some sort of regulator/filter to isolate it from the main power circuit?

They have a new version Dan.
Its the same camera but in a mini version, and even better, it runs from 5-17V.
