haha cheers mate! I do keep a very close eye on it when they are busy charging, especially when all charger are running. As an extra safety precaution I also don't charge any batteries that I consider to be dodgy (so either very unbalanced or puffed) on this setup. I am considering ways in which I can improve in terms of if a fire were to occur. At the moment I am thinking maybe building small sand bags and installing them above every setup so in the event of a fire the bag should melt and drop sand on it. However then I have to deal with the fact that it is placed vertically. To resolve this I was thinking using some fire resistant material and building open top boxes in which the batteries can be placed therefore if the sand were to drop, it should fill the box thus covering the battery with sand and thus putting out the fire hopefully haha.Tony wrote:Pretty cool Damon, my only issue would be that of fire precautions.... just incase. With all those turned on and charging lipos it would be a concern of mine.... But a great idea.![]()
