Spektrum DX8

Hello everyone. I've been in the market for a new radio and decided to get a Spektrum DX8 from Red Rocket instead of A Main Hobbies because Red Rocket had that TX for $10.00 less. Well to make a story short, they discontinued DX8 model. I got this information from Horizon Hobbies. Can anyone verify if this is true? I checked two places and No Go on the TX from both places.

Well i guess i will have to look more into the DX6 or something else before my DX6i gives up on me! It's always something in this hobby but i still wouldn't give this hobby up.

The DX6 is still a very nice tx. Just turn off the annoying voice notifications. As I told you before, my flying buddy has a DX6. He likes the voice notifications. I don't care for it at all, lol.

Yeah, looks like the DX6 is the choice for me. My buddy has one of those annoying voice TX, not DX6, and he's already annoyed with the annoying voice and it's not even a week he has it. LOL I'm going to take your advice again and go with the DX6. That radio is plenty for me. The price is also plenty for me. I can used the left over money from not purchasing DX8 and get some parts for the Tarot 450DFC/Gaui X3. That will work for me.

I like the annoying spoken language of my DX9.. Lol.. U can program it to give only what u want when u want.. Doesn't have to be annoying. The DX6i.. Still have mine.. Great radio! I'm currently using it as my sim transmitter. Doesn't the new DX6 have spoken work as well?

Yes the new one has voice alerts:) I am getting the DX9 this year for my birthday:) and keeping the DX6, Mrs thought i would sell it:( using it as backup and sim also:)
