Well my new bright green LEDs are a bit of a fail.
I flew with a friend on the weekend hoping they would stick out like the proverbial dogs b@!!$ but they didn't.
He could not even see them until he was almost parked in the back of my quad.
Easy to see with the naked eye but near invisible through the FPV cam until it started getting dark.
Must be something to do with the filtration of the FPV cam.
I will try putting red on one side which is what I was intending until I saw how bright the green ones looked.

We are thinking about IR LEDs if we can find some really powerful ones..
Have you ever aimed a TV remote at a camera?
Try it, you will see what I mean.

Sounds like a plan Stambo, IR leds are plentiful on eBay and would work great I think, worth a try.
