Kyle, I do believe that there is a diagram or illustration in the Cleanflight programming that shows the motor direction. Nonetheless, Graham has given a perfect image that shows the direction.

So basically I would put a ccw motor where it spins cw then?

The way I figure it out is hold the prop nut and turn the motor the way it is supposed to go.
If it tightens it's in the right place.

I think I firgured it as the cw prop.. Gets the ccw adaptor/nut... That right? As the motor turns and u hold the nut it gets tighter.

Yeah, I've made that mistake on this quad, lost the prop and nut in flight.... No damage though, but a lesson learnt...

I never knew that on my 450 sized spider quad they were right turn to tighten but i never lost a prop

Larger quads don't seem to so much of an issue.
I think with the smaller ones, the risk of touching a twig or some long grass with a prop tends to run the risk of undoing a normal nut.
