I just spoke with a buddy of mine on Facebook. He also suggested the 2300kv motors but he has the 1806 2300kv motors.

Well crap....looks like I'll be replacing some motors REAL soon because I didn't spend this kind of money on something that I can only fly for 2-3 minutes. That's unacceptable!

nah..went to bed about 10:30 last night...got up a bit after 3:30 this morning and couldn't sleep anymore....so, I'm out in the garage, lol

hmmmm, I just found my 4S 1800mah 40C pack. My motors and esc's are rated for 4S. Would I be asking for "trouble" if I tried this pack on my quad?

Nevermind, lol...dont reply to that. I'll just order new motors.

I'm not doubting myself...I'm quite confident in my thumbs....I just don't want to tear anything up.

I have 5x3 and 5x4 props.....which props do you think would be better with the 4S?

5 x 4 Derek, but feel how hot the motors get after the first flight, the pitch varies a bit with the props:)

I am happy to report that I have the next 3 nights off work....YAY....the weather today is fantastic....YAY....I flew two packs through my quad today....YAY....if I managed to operate the Mobius correctly, I should have some LOS flight video, in Horizon Mode, to share tonight. I'd like to be out flying right now but I have some other things that need my attention right now. I tried to get the quad to oscillate like I talked about before but it never did it. Perhaps something can be seen in the video and you all can give me suggestions for adjustments. The quad flew very nicely...steady and smooth. I got aggressive with the throttle several times but no oscillation, lol. I did hook up a LVM and it beeped at me, under load, just before the 5 minute mark. I was flying a 3S 1550mah 30C pack. Motors, esc's, and battery all came down very slightly warm to the touch. I'm still not convinced that I made the right decision getting these 2100kv motors. I hear of people getting 7-8 minute flights. Perhaps is just the capacity of the pack. Perhaps if I had the 2200mah packs on board, the flight times would reach the 7-8 minute mark.

Anyway...I'll check the Mobius and see if I have some flight video to share with ya's.

Everthing can look amazing LOS but once its FPVed you start to notice all sorts of crazy things.

I only use 2200's as I have 7 of them, makes the quad very docile and slow to respond to sticks.... I've got 1 1500 and it's much more responsive with that, but I only get 5-6 mins flight time when I thrash it...

LOL i get around the 3:30 make doing acro packs come down at around 3.8 per cell if i run for 4 mins they come down at 3.7

Charpu, boris b and metalldanny used to run 2200mah 3s before they moved to 4s but 6" props

Well..it sounds like my flight times are pretty standard then. I thought I was getting shorted.

I did do my first FPV flight in my front yard tonight. What an awesome little ride!!! Forgot to turn on the Mobius but I am uploading the LOS flight video from earlier right now. I'll post it as soon as it's done processing.

If you get the mobius cable that has the power leads and plug it in, then power it with a 5v bec or from one of your ESCs you can set it to auto record when it powers up and save and quit when it powers off. I used to forget all the time. Now I have a 64Gb mem card so recording size is not an issue.

Forgetting to record your first FPV flight is shocking.

ha ha ha, I've been threatened with the "ban hammer" many times before......and yet, I'm still around, lol.

I was just so excited and nervous. I powered everything up....had good solid video on the Dom's. Armed the board and lifted off. It's a whole new world, lol. This lil FPV quad will be a lot of fun at the flying field and around my yard. I'll get more video as I go. I have a "reminder note" on my antenna tripod to turn on the Mobius, lol. I shouldn't forget again.
