Was it that dark in real life?
If you are talking about when the lights goes out, then yes - pitch black :D But the disc was clearly visible and I knew roughly what orientation the tail was. So I considered my options for a second, then hit TH and auto'd down.

Nice job, Marius! The flight was going real well and then BLACK!!! That's really fantastic that you got the helicopter down without damage.

Thanks again guys!

Here's one of todays flights. Training on transitions mostly, the usual sport flying and some funnels towards the end. For some reason I'm still a bit afraid flying tail in inverted, this is something I have struggled with for quite some time now. One of this years goals is to get 110% comfortable with tail in inverted and not constantly "go safe" with nose in inverted.

I was waiting for an epic skid into a stop auto-rotation landing at the end. Ice. :)

Nice flying, as usual.

The Agile was once again back in service this weekend, after many days repairing the havoc I caused last season. Boom, TT, tail blades, main blades, swash, main shaft, straightened out a few bent bits and pieces - you name it! I was fully charged with all my flight packs and Rx-packs, ready to begin the season :D Hell yeah!

On the second flight the Ikon botches the soft spool and tears the one way clutch apart, also cracking the roots on my 100$ Zeal blades. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGG

To hell with the blades, I'm gonna fly those anyway!!! But the clutch, that's a 65$ part!! Jeeeeeeeeeesus.....
This hobby is killing me... :(

If that wasn't enough, on the last pack of the day I plowed the T-Rex 500 into the field... Nice start on this years season :D

I've been having issues with Ikon motor gov and spool ups too. My issue is the other way, though. It slowly ramps up to like 50% RPM and then sits there until I start fiddling with the collective or switch around on the flight mode. Very strange.

So what happened? Did it just jump straight to full power on spool up?
