Even though it looks very impressive, I can't help but doubt some of it's capabilities. If I were to take that ting with me to our local ski slopes - filled with hundreds of other skiers - can I be confident the drone won't crash into a fellow skier?

No. And that's why I wouldn't use one except in relatively solitary areas. And that's why I'm not a fan of this tech. People will use it in stupid locations and situations that will end up causing damage or inflicting injury.

But if you're smart and use it in relatively controlled, low risk (to other people and property) situations it looks like a great unit.
