yes I think so Tony, the Naza M V2 was quite a tall investment, but thankfully mostly funded for my b'day,

if you do put another build together look at a bigger ship as they are more stable by nature of their size, and the Naza lite only being just over £100 with a good GPS there's pretty good stuff to be had out there

Got to use 2 batteries on the new FS lunch time for a quick blast around, freaking unbelievable this quad is.

first battery was in 10 - 12 mph wind and power into the wind was impressive and stability was second to none,

Second battery which was only 5 mins later the wind was gusting again probably close to 18-20mph and while it was getting pushed around I was able to fly it well, would not have been able to fly the emax in this wind as it would have been all over the place,

Both batteries after fighting up wind a fair bit of the 4:30 timer, came down at 3.8v per cell and just slightly warm.

Hopefully Wednesday I will be able to get some footage.

Here is my flights I recorded from last night, Alien I took up to 90m to have a nice pano, bit of jello on lowering throttle to come down but think it was a bit of wind buffering and low throttle position, cleared up when back closer to the ground.

happy with the Alien that feels so sedate and calm, :)

but man the Fossils stuff was a blast, wish I had more than the 2 batteries that I did have, never mind 4 more being delivered today, :D  :D

Well I had 3 good flights on the alien tonight in a good 12-15 mph wind and it handled well, will be checking the footage on the two I recorded tomorrow,

Also had two batteries on the Gravity, man I love this little thing, I have so much more confidence with it, than I ever had with the Emax, both flights on video again I hope to watch tomorrow, been playing with the Runcam settings so don't know what they will be like though,

All flights were FPV and I had buckets of fun, including some low quick passes with the FS, oh shite I think I'm hooked, :D

Lol aren't we all.
I have given up suggesting cheap gear for people to try FPV.
I now tell people to get the best they can afford.
They never regret it.
Everyone I know of that has tried FPV is addicted like the rest of us so why start with gear you will want to replace.

That looks like a good spot for FPV practice.
Before you know it you will be bouncing off trees and dirt like the rest of us. :)
Nice landings too. :)

Was that footage directly off the camera or did you process it before uploading?

Nah Stambo direct off the Runcam, and yes having good stuff is so much better, this FS Gravity is giving me so much confidence, think it has something to do with the lifetime warranty, :)

Yeah that field is big, but get a fair bit of interferance off the high tension wires that run along the side of the field, not bad enough not to fly down there though, got a couple of LC filters on order at the moment that may help, have a home made simple one on the Alien but not sure how good it is.

Nice job, Kev! You were doing real well at keeping the quad low, too. That's something that I want to work on...keeping lower.

Thanks guys, love the feeling of the ground rushing under the camera,

Derek I somehow find altitude control easier when I'm lower as I can see the change quicker, ground is a good reference.

Lee, I need to make a better camera wedge/mount.

Nice flight Kev.
I agree about the ground rushing past, wait until you start getting closer to some trees and posts and stuff. :)
You look to be almost ready for acro, it will make your flights and video much smoother.
Then the real tuning can start.
When you do though, gain a bit of altitude until you get used to it.
It becomes more like a CP heli, where you put it is where it stays until you bring it back.

Derek, altitude and throttle control will only come with stick time, battery after battery after battery. :)

Thanks Stambo, am loving this 250 is freaking awesome, and so fly able, acro is a bit off but not long I hope,

Well guys I had a blast last night done 4 batteries on the Gravity and had epic fun, oh and I finally broke a prop, :D

One of our guys brought some tent poles and pipe foam and a high viz vest, = mega fun, and a good few props broken between the three of us, :D

Well my videos were all over the place, forgot to stop recordings and take off the lens cap on the first but here is a taster of the last little bit I got right, have to edit the other stuff including a good crash that did zero damage not even a prop
