With battery and without Mobius/Runcam it was 535g

Battery listed at 105g
Mobius/Runcam at 40g

Therefore it should be 470g or 430g without camera on it, roughly.......

Climb out Derek is blistering, power to weight is fantastic!

That's awesome, Kev! I've got my scratch built 290 quad now and it flies very well but I have extra motors, esc's, Naze32, breakout cable, rx, and some hardware. I'm really considering building a 230-240 quad and "seriously" focusing on keeping the weight down. My 290 quad is quite heavy but if I can build another quad, and keep the weight down to 450-500g, I'll be seriously happy.

Have fun with the new sexy quad, Kev! It sure does look great!

Just go to fossils stuff website mate, they do a 280 frame now as well, and that has more room inside, mine is tight, and that's with esc's smaller than a 2 quid coin

Well after using a second hand board that I had of my mate when I bought all his quad stuff, I found I had a little drift that would change if I had trimmed it and then changed battery, so I got a new board,

soldered it up on the weekend with the bare minimum of pins, and put a 3rd pin in for the sat connector on to 3.3v and also soldered in a set of leads for a buzzer, I missed not having them there and not having an arming tone,

Levelled it out of the quad on my table, so I know its perfect as table set up with SOKO tool,

Used a backup of my setting for ease of setting up the new board, and away to go,

Zero drift and one happy fella now, :D :D :D :D :D

Thanks Derek,

just wanted more confidence in a hover that the quad is not drifting, as its not easy to see when you got the goggles on.
