Based on the power adapter labeling you do need center to be positive. Definitely put the meter on the new one you made up and make sure. Easy to get those coaxial plug end leads mixed up. What battery did you use to power this?

Actually, thecable that I used has two individually insulated wires, side by said.

As I said above, when I was making the adapter, before I added any power to anything, I broke open the wall plug and followed the wires directly to the circuit board. I found the + and the - and the made the connection accordingly.

This all being said, when I get the new one, I will still check the multimeter to the round plug for proper polarity.

Have you tried that battery on your quad?
Might be a bit heavy but has plenty of current capability. :)

The current capacity is increased to 99 amps.
2200x45/1000=99
1550x30/1000=45
It's almost double.
When you hit low voltage alarm on punch outs it is because the battery cannot supply the current the motors are asking for so the voltage sags.

Sorry Stambo! I was at work last night when I read your post. It was quite hot in the plant and I was very tired. I misunderstood what you were saying. You were asking me if I had tried that 3S 2200 45C lipo on my quad. The answer is yes, I have and it but I don't remember if it set off the LVM. I was trying to avoid using that pack because of it's size but...since the quad is already NOT what I had hoped for, I may just continue to use the 3S 2200mah 45C on my 290 quad. I'll have to order some more because I only have one of those. One just isn't gonna be good enough, lol.

Me neither D, I'd like some lighter 3s lipos, got one 1500 and quad is much more agile with that

Ok, now I'm excited!!! The store finally had a replacement 19" tv come in stock. They called me. I hurried down and got mine replaced with no questions asked. PERFECT!!! I brought the tv home and just did a bit of testing. Plugged the cord into the wall and then to the tv. Pressed the power button and the tv comes on, as it should. Cool! I got my quad and FPV stuff...hooked it all up and after some brief setup, I could see my daughters face on the tv because the camera on my quad was pointing at my daughter, lol. AWESOME!!!

I'll need to get another a/v cable and I'll need different cable that converts the a/v cable to whatever connector that goes to the vrx. Besides that, it's perfect!!!

If you guys would like to see a how it's setup, just ask. I'll do up a bit of video that shows the tv working.

Well, people get busy. I, myself, have been working a lot. Many days off have been rained out or I'm playing with my lil girl.

Anyway...I'll get some video of my 19" fpv TV all setup and working. Its pretty cool!!!
