One of the things I tried to start doing this year was force myself to fly maneuvers in opposite directions. Instead of nose left piro flips, try a series of nose-right piro flips, for instance. Force myself to fly bad orientations (for me) such as circles and circuits where I deliberately flew through the 9-12 o'clock (or 12-9 o'clock for counter clockwise) orientation trying to iron out my nose in and nose away turns through that quadrant. Flips and rolls and rainbows in uncomfortable orientations (side on, skids in, etc.).
Thank you :) haha yeah I have been trying stuff like that except sticking to the simulator at the moment because most of the time the maneuvers in the opposite direction don't end too well, but slowly working on it and I am sure will make its way into my flying routine hopefully in the near future.

Here are some more flight videos:

Assault 700 flight(110) - This was a bit of an interesting flight as I recently rebuilt the tail as some of the bearings had to be replaced. I may or may not have forgotten to locktite a certain important bolt back there :roll: ;) and it came back to haunt me as in this flight during one of my half piro it decided to completely back out and I lost the tail inverted. I was luckily able to quickly hit throttle hold and flip the heli upright although the landing was a little bit rough. Ran out of headspeed just before I landed but all in all she survived with no damage and flew later that they again with no issues.

And here is later that day's flight:

And if you happened to have been watching some of my recent youtube uploads you may have noticed I have a new keli kit.
Goblin 380 KSE flight(18):

As well has finally finished my zmr 180 and started flying fpv again. I cannot land with a camera tilt to save my life. I attempted to land visually at the end why it may seem like the quad just drifted a little bit. I apologies for the video quality as well as the audio static. I advise you to turn down or mute the audio. I did use another recording method which turned out a little better although quite unreliable but i shall upload that one later.

How do you like that 380 compared to the 700?

Thank you :) Hahaha yeah there are a couple of times where I just have to take a deep breath and hope the sticks move the way they should.

It is a 'cute' little beast haha. To be honest it is actually pretty great! The tail is a little bit more picky to setup up as I can still every once in a while get the tail to blowout during hard hurricanes when comparing to the big 700. Another person flying at my club has the same issue wit his 380 although we are very close to getting that tail setup rock solid. For the most part it flies much the same as its much bigger brother. It also still has that big 'presence' in the air even though it is so small which is quite nice. So yeah honestly not much to complain about. Well worth it I reckon.

So here are a couple of non gopro footage that my dad took of me while flying the Goblin 700 KSE. I have made some changes to the the helis. I have swapped the BK 8001s out of he two bladed goblin and onto the 3 bladed goblin and took the BK 7002s and placed them onto the Normal 2 bladed goblin. Still working on the tuning of the two bladed goblin but the KSE seems pretty solid. I have also discarded the vibration dampening grommets on the cyclic servos as I found that the servos would have a bit of play on them when they have a lot of load on them which caused the heli to act unpredictably (Pitch seemed to be very inconsistent) especially while doing pitch pumps, tick toks and continuous flips.

Thank you! It is quite strange though to view the same flight from someone else's perspective.

Here is a recent flight video of the KSE someone recorded at the club after I finally resolve some technical issues and adjusted the rates:

Nice flight as always Damon:) just noticed your arms are at full stretch when flying:) very unusual. I am a pincher and neck strap user, so find it hard to understand how people use thumbs:) i would be worried i would drop the TX as i cant fly:) LOL

Haha thanks :) ! To be honest I never noticed that until I watched the video (in regards to my arms), no idea why I do it haha I just do (habit I guess). I will be honest there has actually been one occasion where my thumb did slip off the sticks but luckily I recovered very quickly haha. I have tried pinching in the past but just couldn't get use to the feel of it.

Strong flying, as usual Damon!

I used to thumb and recently made the switch to pinching. When I was thumbing I never felt like I was going to drop the Tx. I had three fingers on each side underneath and it felt very solid, but I still used a neck strap. With pinching, I have to use a strap to feel like the Tx is secure. Only two fingers under the Tx and my finger reach isn't that long so the Tx always feels like it is about to fall.

Thanks :) ! I am considering swapping to pinching as I can get my movements a little bit more accurate especially with the spartan vortex's tail control; even the slightest bump, slide or shacking from the stick gets translated into noticeable tail movement in the air haha
