Graham Lawrie:)
I like most had the childhood fascination with all things flying. I come from a very poor background, so folks never had much to spend on toys. Big family with 9 of us in total, 3 died. So the child in me never left. Flew loads of real planes etc in the Air Training Corps (RAF Cadets), where i got my glider pilots licence, which sadly i never pursued:(

Every time i was in a shop with co-ax helis, i always held one up showed the wife and hinted , birthday, xmas, but never got one::(

It all changed when totally out of the blue 2 xmas,s ago the wifes aunt saw one not knowing i always wanted one and bought me a cheap co-ax.

After the first crash(went out of signal range) i bought a 9011. Saw Alan Szabo on Youtube and the bug bit. Then more small ebay crashed buys which i repaired, and money pit of a 9011 that never flew right, the Mrs okayed it to get a 450,though i really wanted a 550.

Struggled to get the 450 going then found RC_Help. Got it going but always struggled with 3gx, until Cameron swapped the 3gx for an AR7200BX .
NEVER looked back, 450 became rock solid, bought 600 From Lee, 550 From Cameron, crashed flew crashed repeat...... 150 bought, micro-quad...

Learnt loads, met some awesome net friends, rising from the ashes of a past website, to now channeling my energy with like minded friends into what has become a major passion in my life........live long and prosper:)

Marines here have that same environment. Lots of brotherhood stuff. They say if you mess with a marine you mess with all of them.
