Tony's catastrophic crashes log

Post by Tony »

this is going to contain my worst crashes, some my fault and some setup/helis fault

this one decided to prune the fruit tree on its way to heaven..

skip to time 1:30 just to see the crash..

this one, think i hit the "self destruct button", found out the elevator link came off..

this one was when it decided to be a submarine, skip to around time 2:30...

This is a different take on flight log. In a way it's funny and sad at the same time. Hope the crashes become less destructive.

The more you fly the greater the chance. I felt really bad after the blade went poltergeist on you. It was a very close call and some luck it went nose up tail back.

Yes it was a close call URI, lessons learnt eh... I don't mind crashing really. It's the waiting for parts that's the boring bit, I need two of everything in stock...lol

The crash was not your fault as far was were able to tell. Something failed which caused that. So dont be to hard on yourself about it. Had that not happened the heli would have just spun or would have tipped. Same end result just not as expensive to fix.

Just goes to show how dangerous these things can be.
That first vid, if it had headed toward you instead of in to the tree could have been real bad.

I think I'll stick with my quads and plane. :)

Lol.. Hopefully we will all have matching t-shirts soon as well.. We can all fly to one destination for a fun fly/pajama party. Lol.. I'd still spool up in the garden.. I do in my (and neighbors)front yard all the time...
