These last two videos were done as the sun was setting. With the Fatsharks on the ground, I could see that it was getting darker but I continued to fly because the view that I had in my Fatsharks was quite bright. To me, it looked like a regular afternoon or late morning. The FPV cam on my ZMR is just awesome!

I'm working tonight and tomorrow (and it's raining the next two nights, lol) but this weekend looks to be dry. I may give those settings a try.

Let me ask you this...because my current settings are working very well for me, is there a way to have my settings saved or should I just take a screen shot of my settings, then make the changes you are showing? I'd just hate to make the changes and then not like it and then not be able to get back to my current settings

Another question....what differences can I expect while using Luxfloat and your given settings in comparison to the settings that I have now?

Yes they can be saved Derek:)

on the first page on Cleanflight "Setup" press the backup button and it will save to wherever you want to save the file on your PC

The differences are night and day Derek. It is more responsive and faster:) BUT FASTER IN A GOOD WAY:)

This is Cameron flying Luxfloat on my Fossil for the first time:) Look at the grin on his face at the end. He,s a good pilot and saw the difference.

It works better as the looptime is quicker , it makes flights smoother, and very easy to work out PID,s:)

I am using Betaflight, but still PID 1, I keep threatening to give Lux a go but mine is flying so well at the moment I am hesitant to touch it.
You can save different profiles Derek so you can switch back and forth with stick commands.
Just make sure to check everything as though you are starting from scratch.
This way you can land, switch profile and take off again and instantly feel the difference.

I was the same:) why try when mine flew so well on Factory PID,s on Multi rewrtie. Then a guy gave me a hand set up my Fossil and i flew it without knowing it was Luxfloat. I assumed he had set it up better than me, until i connected to the laptop and saw it was Luxfloat. It flew amazing so i put all of mine on it and have never looked back:)

As there was a bit of a breeze today, my parents came out to the field with my wife, daughter, and I to fly a few kites. I was trying to get video of the kites in the air. It's quite a challenge to do this, lol, but it was fun!

That is probably why I am still on rewrite, it works so much better on Betaflight.
