I have a new flying buddy. Mike is into FPV and multirotors. I'm thinking that he and I are about the same skill level but we've had fun on our last outings. Todays outing was no exception. Thanks Clay! For several weeks this summer, the grass was very brown and dry...just ugly. We've had a lot of rain over the last week or so and the grass has really "greened" up.

Its awesome fun, buddy! Id say most of the difficulty is in the setup (which isn't real hard with the help from the guys). Once you get past that....its time to flip and roll and dive and all that lol

Dad and I went flying with some friends, yesterday. Dad asked me if I could follow his Delta Ray with my ZMR250 and record the flight. I've never followed a moving object before, but I gave it a shot. I think I did pretty well for the first time. It's quite obvious that I'm not a member of the Flite Test video crew, lol, but I did pretty well. Dad is doing such a great job flying his Delta Ray....we just need to work on his landings. Usually he lands on the parking lot but he landed the plane in the grass on this flight.

WOW! The last time a post was made in this thread was nearly a year ago. Ugh!

Well, after removing the Naze32 rev 5 and adding an Omnibus F4 v2, I now have OSD and a current sensor. It works awesomely! I also removed the 20amp Little Bee esc's and added 30amp Little Bee esc's. I'm hoping to add a Crossfire Micro v2 rx in the real near future and I'd like to be able to run 5S packs for some fun long range flying. Until then, here are two videos from getting out and flying today. It was gorgeous today!

I bought a PDB that is capable of 6S. Just waiting for some spare time to come around so i can get it installed. Hopefully i can get some 5S or 6S packs ordered and we'll give the ZMR some serious cruising.

My old ZMR250 is back in action and it's got many new upgrades.

I upgraded from a Naze32 rev 5 fc to an Omnibus F4 v2 fc (with current sensor and OSD)
..............from a DSMX satellite rx to the TBS Micro v2 rx
..............from DAL 5045 props to 6045 Bullnose props
..............from ImmersionRC 5.8ghz 200mw vtx to Aomway 5.8ghz 600mw vtx
..............from 20amp Little Bee esc's to 30amp Little Bee esc's.

I also removed a bunch of excess wire. I've done 6 or 7 test hovers in my front lawn but today I took the ZMR out for it's first actual flight. This quad is going to be a long range quad but today was just a close up flight around some trees at a new location. I flew today on 3S 1550mah Glacier lipo but I plan to progress up to 4S and 5S 2200mah packs. So far, the Full TBS Crossfire module is working flawlessly on the ZMR and my S800 wing. More to come....
