The weather has been pretty bad here lately; windy and raining the whole time however I did manage to squeeze in one quick flight yesterday. However the flight had to be cut short due to my pulse RX pack sagging too much under load. Was a fun relaxing flight though none the less.

Thought I would chuck up some of my recent flights before our fast and furious fun fly event occurs this weekend as I'll mainly focus on posting content from that in the coming days after it.

So yesterday I picked up a used Protos 500 for $400 AUD (That is roughly $306.06 USD) with a lot of spare parts:

And yeah it came with a lot of different canopies that lead me to taking these photos haha:

Already flew it 3 times and I have to say it flies really nicely. Have some red dampeners (3D ones) on the way as it only has the black ones (Soft ones) atm so have to keep my flying pretty chilled.

haha thanks mate! It is one amazing heli to fly. Haha I have also started restructuring my fleet now. My Goblin 700 KSE has been retired and stripped of electronics and will hopefully be sold shortly. Taking its place is something different and big :D

Nice flying like always Damon. Great to watch! The Tri blade Trex 700 or maybe the Velos 880 could be another choice. Must be nice to make decision like that.

Haha nah. Mostly moving away from Tri-bladed setups for now. Honestly prefer the way 2 bladed variants fly on the main head at least (Possibly a 3 bladed tail because they can be helpful and nice).
But I am moving towards a heli that crashes cheaper for the most part :P

Thank you :D ! Haha the Velos 880 is a behemoth in terms of it size and also its price :P . Aiming for something a bit cheaper than my goblins and not quite as big as a 880.

Well here is the new Arrival. I have essentially reserved one of these for the last 2 months; couple of things occurred which is why it took so long but the kit finally arrived last week Friday.

The Protos Max V2 800:

Thanks mate :) I must say it is by far the best heli I have flown. The sound and the feel in the air is magical haha. I feel like my goblins will be sitting on the shelf quite a bit more now.

I have been thoroughly enjoying flying my Protos helis. So much so that I am not sure when I will fly the goblins again haha. Anyway here are some more flight videos.

Something a little different. Everyone is always asking me to start doing autos at the club so I decided that I shall take the 800 and begin practicing autos. Since I haven't really ever intentionally done one (Had some forced autos) I took it nice and easy. Nothing special just some forward moving autos. It was also a pretty windy day so not too great for flying but helps with autos. Enjoy :)
