Post by DOG »

Thanks guys :) . Wow, big difference from flying a heli :? . I tried the FPV goggles on but didn't try flying the quad with them on. I just did a hand flying just to check it out  . I don't know but it's going to take some time to get use to  . Still pretty neat experience

FPV is still third on my list. I enjoy flying the planks more. Much more relaxing than helis or FPV for me. Helis are still #1.

We'll see what this upcoming season brings, though. Maybe I'll finally get the hang of fpv quad racing and start enjoying it. So far it has been a struggle, though.

I got a few years on you, I tried it and I love it.
More so than LOS for sure.
I was having trouble seeing with my predators, so I went and spent a small fortune on a set of Dom v3s.
Wasn't much better, I wear glasses and they don't fit under normal goggles.
I tried the diopter lenses that I got with the predators but that made things worse so I got an old pair of prescription glasses (poly lenses) and cut some lenses from them with my Dremel. Not perfect but a whole heap better.
There is now somewhere in the states that will make them to your prescription so I am thinking about doing that. :)
