That's right, Tony! I like the inexpensiveness of the OrangeRx receivers. Instead of risking my expensive Spektrum rx's, these OrangeRx products are great. Now, as I have said before, I have flown my Delta Wing (with OrangeRx 6 channel rx onboard) completely out of sight. I don't do it often but I'll fly vertical and more and more and more, then I lose track of it...shut the motor off, give hard left or right aileron to induce a roll as it falls. I'll watch for the contrast in colors from the belly and back of the wing and then fly it back down. I've checked the rx light and it's always solid.

I'll continue to use the Spektrum DSMX on my helicopters and on my Blue Cub STOL....but the OrangeRx products do have their place.

Well I have all Orange ORX RX's 6 channel units and have not had 1 failure, In fact 2 were in massive accidents 1 in a tree at 45 MPH and the other nose first into the asphalt full speed (don't let an inexperienced fly your plane without a buddy box) and still work fine. I use the ORX T-Six Radio and it has been flawless! I am still learning it's features like flaps and elevator mixing, travel adjustments, aileron differential, this thing is loaded with features. I can't bad mouth it at all.

I've never flown a plane into a tree. The problem I have is the occasional tree that jumps in front of my plane, ha ha ha!!!
