180 vs 180pro

Post by DOG »

Hey everyone. With the help of Derek, I finally have both of my quads going at the same time 8-) Being new to FPV, I've still notice the difference between the HolyBro shuriken 180 and the 180 pro :o To start of the 180 weights 11.4 OZ when the pro comes in tipping the scale at 12.9 OZ both without battery  Not really because the pro has bigger motors and slightly bigger and thicker frame but both swinging 4" props. The 180 being lighter and with 3 bladed props powered by 4s battery, she moves alone great, for me anyway. The pro being overweight  I put the 2 bladed props on her and also powered by 4s battery. She's not as quick as the 180 but she will fly great at the park where she has room to float around. The 180, being a quick little booger, will work fine for around the house and the area I fly in and out of. Both quads I'm happy with but If I had my first choice it would be the 180 on the right and the pro will be back up.

I've not flown the Shuriken 180 Pro but I love my lil 180 on 4S...it's amazing fast! My ZMR250 has been a great quad for me but it's heavy. My Gravity 250 is also an amazing quad and I really enjoy flying it around. However, that lil 180 is the lightest of my 3 quads and it's just a wicked fast quad.
