Didn't go quite to plan

Did a full check on all mechanical and electrical systems.
Took off, and at 3ft, twang. Tail blade ejected.
Ripped up the tail unit, but i did manage to auto to a smooth landing.
Well that was an exciting first flight back

No ding Paul. I just think a year sitting in the house has allowed the plastic tail blades to degrade.

After tearing down the tail, it looks like maybe the tail bearings disintegrated.
Got away pretty lightly. Bearings, tail fin, and one tail blade, is all the damage.
Shame, out of all the spare parts i have for the tail, these parts, i don't have

Well second time lucky.
Took the Warp and a quad up to Marbella to meet some flying buddies.
This time, success. Warp stayed in one piece.
First flight after more than a year was sketchy. Just floating around doing circuits.
But from the second flight onwards, i was back to piroflips etc

All the guys there have new Goblins. 500s, 380s and a new Uruakay and Fireball

Also got to see first hand a DJI Mavic. Nice bit of kit.

I went up there on my Motorbike. With my gear in a rucsack.
They all have motorbikes too, so hoping next time to get some riding and flying in.
Also my friend Antonio has promised me a drive in his Lamborgini Aventador, cant wait

Still want to sell my Goblin 570 to get a 420, so I can carry it on my motorbike.

Man Lee... you get to drive a Lamborghini. Sweet deal. You guys have the roads to enjoy vehicles like that. Here in the U.S. the roads are rough

There's a place in Orlando Florida, many others i imagine, that you can pay to drive exotic cars and NASCAR if you cough up some $$$$. Glad to here your back in the air. Nothing like getting some flight time in when you can.
