I have not given up, but i have bought the exact same setup from the UK only its a fiberglass frame:( Got the frame esc,s and motors for £85. I have bought the Full Naze32 soldered and the box to protect it from the same place in the UK for £56. Should get them next week. The plan then is to attach my Fuji camera and video the area grid by grid:) Still dont think i will find it but until i get the whole area done i wont give up:)
Mobius is a must, but next months pay cheque.

But the good news is............Mrs is getting me a DX9 from Sanata:)

Ull LOVE the DX9... It's an awesome radio... Easy to navigate.. Tons of options.. It's just awesome.. Gimbals are so smooth.. I did tight up on the for a little more resistance against my thumbs.. Helps me "feel" mid stick.. It's nice bud.. AND IT TALKS TO U TOO!

Does DX9 have telemetry?
The Taranis reads my flight battery voltage to me while flying FPV.
Also the RSSI feedback helps to find it in the long grass when it has an unscheduled heavy landing.
Two of the many reasons I got it.

It is telem ready! Will even speak it for u mid flight to ur settings.

That's what the Taranis does, means the lipo alarm is a thing of the past.
So much better for FPV.

Do it, you will love it.
If you get one of these they are best flown FPV.
Near impossible to see orientation once they get a bit of distance.
If you just want a small quad to fly around you are probably better off with a cheapy bangood thing.

she could have got stuck somewhere though, i would presume it would sink with a Lipo on it, maybe trapped between rocks... is the Etive deep?
