Got a little carried away.... Down rather than away actually! Lol.. Sun poped out and I couldn't resist... 4th pack I came out of piro flip(if that's what u call it) with too much roll and was banked instead of level.. Got it level just as the ground caught it... Practice practice practice! Had fun tho.

That's exactly how I see it Dan... I've been doin the "learning curve" stuff on the 450... Not to say I haven't done inconsistent on the 550.. But I practice more with the little bird.. As u said... Cheaper! But it's not too bad.. Spindle & main, 2 dfc links(& a bolt for one), tail fin, possibly a boom.. Have to look closer on it... And of course blades.. I think I have most of it here.. This marks the last of the "back up spares" including blades.. Time to restock my 450 drawer!

Had an awesome day.. No pics or video unfortunately.. But I took the 450 & 550 w me to NC... Up about an hour & a half past Charlotte... To the family Thanks Giving dinner.. Lots of open sky over fields... Quite windy today.. I couldn't tell if I need to tweek the 450 or not... Couple blow outs.. Imma blame the wind at this point.. But she flew well.. The 550 didn't skip a beat.. Couple of strong gust pushed her a little.. I mean a little.. I had cars & trucks stoping in the middle of the street to watch.. Raced a truck! I won.. That happened! I think I need to tone back on my fly'n speed.. Getting too cocky for my skill level.. Gonna end up crashing soon... I don't mind beat'n the crap outta the 450.. But I don't look forward to repairing the 550.. $$$$.. But who am I kidding.. It's gonna happen.. BUT NOT TODAY! Had a good time w family.. Ate like a king.. Flew like top gun... Bed time!

Ok, had a couple packs still charged from yesterday.. At lunch I went and burn't them off. I set the iPhone against the truck to record... Then I flew out of the field of view.. Thought it was wider.. And it cut me off again!.. I post it tonight even tho it's pretty lame.. Gotta figure out a better way.. Guess I'll have to use the hat cam..
