Joining the quad gang - Tony's quad log

Post by Tony »

I'm joining the club of quads. Got my quad back off Lee today which I've posted comment on..

So I decided the first thing to do is make sure I can see which way it's facing... So here are the leds I've fitted..

I've done a short video of my first flight outside in the dark, not much going on but hey, it's me... Lol

It's uploading onto YT

and here is the first video of it at night...

Do you have some red or white to put on the other side? Thinking that if you get it turned around or far away from you that it will be difficult to tell what it's doing with just the one set on there.

I do actually Paul, but not keen on the LED strips, had red and green strips on the skids of my 450... Got white on the front now..

I extended the legs on quad this morning so I can fit 2200 lipos on, done a quick flight with the 2200 and it works pretty well which I'm pleased about as I have loads of those. Probably a bit sluggish for most of you guys but works well for me... Sunny day today so I'll be going out to do some flying...
