Thanks Lee, have you shortened the camera to vtx lead before or will it cause issues, also taking the grey cover off it,

Yeh I have shortened the leads before, but not the ones with the RF cover.

Well a few alterations to what I had,

First, I had a freind print me a camera mount,

I have added a switch into the vtx power line, as I wanted to run direct off my PDB but not want the vtx on constantly

So here is the finished article, I think I got it as clean as I can, for now anyway,

Well I have gone to the dark side, and put an ORX R615x on the bird, not sure yet on mounting but have gone for this due to being able to run PPM input, one wire, can't fault it,

Oh and it being 3.5g decased or 9g cased helps plus so many less wires and plugs,

Some work to do later one thinks,

Well as promised here is a few pics, of what I have been up to in the last few days,

First I changed out the RX for the ORX R615x just to be able to run PPM

And you can see in the picture the new switch I put in for my VRx I was not happy with the small toggle switch I had used,

I used one of the guys in our engineering department and had him draw up a rear bumper for the sole purpose of mounting a longer string of led's, this was the first try and it turned out not bad,
