Yeah, I'll take a panoramic sweep in my next vid. I take off and land in my back yard, but most of the actual flying is in my neighbor's back yard. I've about an acre or so of flying area and then my neighbor has another 2 or so. Plus flying over the woods in the back back. :)

Actually...

https://youtu.be/wZa_ueSlEp8

Here's some vid from the 350QX (haven't flown that in forever, should light it up and give it a try again). You get a good picture of the area I fly in in the back. If you pause at 11 sec you'll see two trees on either side of the frame. One on the left is where I pilot from. On the right is the tree you see in the prior video where i'm taking off and landing.

Timer is 4min if I remember right. And I usually over fly 20-30sec. Comes down with 3.8v/cell. Motor gets on the lower side of hot. Haven't shot it with the ir thermo but by finger I can only hold it there for a couple seconds before it gets uncomfortable. Esc is cool to warm. Even in 90deg ambient air it only gets up to 140ish deg according to logs. Only occasional spikes to 170A. Not sure what pitch I'm running. I've tweaked it a bit since initial setup at 12deg.

Thanks on the compliment btw. Thinking I've got to start in on full piro flips now. The gob 500 flight had my first decent backwards figure 8. Need a lot more practice on the backward flying. Still thinking a lot before and during each direction change.

Got a bunch of flying in today. Crashed the 500 hard. Inverted. Must have dumb thumbed it, but I swear I put in full negative collective. Odd one.

Got the canopy on the KSE all done. Not horrible for a first try at this kind of mod. Not as cleanly done as I had hoped though. Pics tomorrow.

No video from yesterday.

Not sure on damages. Still need to tear it down. Def a tail pushrod and tail blades. Main gear Jesus bolt. Blade links. Boom bolts. Tail belt. Two sets of servo gears. Probably main shaft. Maybe spindle shaft.

Canopy looks repairable. Boom looked okay. Frame skids main blades tail fin all good.

Going to rip it all apart this time. Make sure bearings and shafts and stuff are all good.

Yes this is my beater. :-)

Still uploading. Will take 50ish minutes for it to complete. Bed time though, so I'm letting it run. :)
