Haha thank you :D ! Yeah surprised me a bit with that landing. Messed up the auto approach but it ended up well (Was not intentionally meant to be an airplane landing auto). I have been enjoying the protos so much that I have started selling off all my goblin and purchasing some msh kits :)

Recently added a new heli -> Max V2 700; So my equipped fleet at this stage consists of a Protos 500, max v2 700 and max v2 800. Hopefully looking at adding a protos 380 and possibly a Max v2 770 Green EVOLUZIONE

Here is a pic of my 700 (red one) and 800 (yellow one):

So we had another event on at our club this weekend; Wings Over Whiteman. A public display day where a wide range of different aircraft participate in. We had several helis down as well. All in all was a good weekend with a reasonable number of the public being there given that they weather was pretty harsh both days. On Saturday there was almost no wind but it turned out to be a day of extreme heat (38 C ~ 100.4 Fahrenheit). Sunday was nice temperature wise but the wind was all over the place.

Here is a group photo that was taken on the Sunday (2nd day)

Here are some of my flights from the first day:

I will add my flight videos from the second day tomorrow

Some sweet looking birds their Damon's ;) . Of course, some awesome flying like always 8-) . Good job! Soooo :? you prefer the Protos line vs the Goblin line or was it time for a change? I do like those Protos but I kinda have my eye on the Gaui X5 V2 my self. A little closer to my price range

Haha a bit of both to be honest. One of the main reasons are simply cost as well as that the hobby store which I buy all my parts from mostly also became the main distributor for MSH in Australia . It is far cheaper parts wise as mentioned before and so far from my experiences, they are a dream to work on for the most part, easy to build, fly very nicely and are quite tough. I am also a huge fan of the magentic canopy mounting system.

My 700 hit the deck on Monday due to an RX pack wire failing and the replacement part cost excluding the blades and the canopy were around $60AUD which is damn impressive for a 700 size heli (I did already have a spare boom and boom support though).

Here is the crash video:
https://youtu.be/gjnSx41x-oU
It has already been rebuilt :D

So Yeah I think it is fair to say that MSH has won me over.

My apologies for being so quiet a lot has being going on, some of it is actually quite exciting which I may talk about in the future but for now back to the flight logs.

So I have been practicing a couple of new things however they haven't quite made it into my usual flight routine yet, as the confidence level isn't quite there yet. However you may notice some of them in the next flight. Now again only a small portion of this flight contains anything remotely new with the rest being the usual however I have upped my tail rate on the vbar to 140 (overdrive mode).

Did I hear the telltale sounds of a nascent piro tic-toc in there around 1/3 of the way in on flight 68, while you're climbing out of the eye level funnel? Edge on piro flips on the vertical are pretty cool looking too. Don't think I've seen them in your prior vids.

Looking good. That protos looks light compared to a gob. Begging for some aerobatic auto-rotations! :)

Haha I wouldn't count on it ;) . Lets just say my practicing has slowed dramatically over last little bit. Will slowly be getting back into it again. Hopefully will have some new things to show soon however again don't count on it :P
Cheers :) ! Haha umm yeah it really isn't light. It is almost as heavy if not heavier. The 770 and the 800 however are insanely light feeling on the disc but the 700 is a bit of different story. However I do prefer a heavy disc feeling versus the lighter ones probably because I have been flying SAB helis for quite some time. To me though, it flies just right with +-13.5 degrees of pitch and around 2140ish headspeed. haha and as for acro autos probably not going to happen. My ESCs do not have bailout and I have no where near enough confidence in my autoing ability to attempt it without.
